Red Tractor Fine Bone China Mug

A hand-drawn red tractor, repeated all the way around the mug, sits against plain white fine bone china. The drawing has a bit of humour in it: a small heart on each wheel hub, brown tyres, pale blue cab windows. Nothing shouts, and it holds its own on a kitchen shelf.

The shape is a straight-sided tankard with a full loop handle, so it takes a proper hand. At 370 ml it is a large mug rather than a teacup, made for a long pot of tea at the kitchen table or a mug carried out to the yard. It is dishwasher and microwave safe, so it can go into daily use rather than the back of a cupboard.
