Red Knot Cufflinks

The knot is one of the oldest shapes in cufflink design, and this pair keeps to it. Four rounded red segments are woven between silver-tone strands, with a darker rope-textured detail running through the centre of the weave. The result is a small domed ball that sits neatly on the cuff rather than standing proud of it.

Red reads well against a white shirt and picks up a red tie or pocket square without matching it exactly. It also works against navy and grey, where a little colour at the wrist is welcome. The fittings are silver-tone with a straight post and a fold-over bar back, the usual arrangement for double cuffs.
