Purple Fabric Rose Lapel Pin

A rose worked in purple textured fabric, with layered petals coiled tight at the centre and opening out towards the edge. The stem is a long straight pin with a silver-tone finish and a rounded cap at the end, so it passes through the buttonhole and sits flat against the lapel.

Worn on the left lapel, it does the job a fresh flower does without wilting halfway through the day. The purple is strong enough to read against grey, navy or black, and it works alongside a plain tie or a bow tie without competing. Groomsmen often wear a set of them where a buttonhole would be awkward.
