Poppy Crocodile Clip Tie Slide

A red poppy sits at the centre of a plain silver-tone bar, the petals a deep red with a black centre. The bar itself is left polished and unadorned, so the flower does the talking against a plain tie.

The crocodile clip grips the tie and the shirt placket together without needing a wide blade, which suits knitted and lighter ties as well as ordinary silk. Wear it around the middle of the tie, roughly between the third and fourth shirt buttons, and keep the poppy sitting upright.

It is worn most through November and at Remembrance and D Day services, though it carries well on any day a man wants the flower on show without a pin through his lapel.
