Pheasant Illustration Fine Bone China Mug

Cock pheasants in full colour, scattered across white fine bone china. The illustration is repeated around the body of the mug, each bird drawn with a copper-brown breast, barred tail and the blue-green head and red wattle that mark out the male. Nothing else on the glaze, so the birds do the work.

The shape is straight-sided with a plain loop handle, and it holds 370ml, a proper mug rather than a teacup. Dishwasher and microwave safe, so it can go into daily use rather than the back of a cupboard.

• Fine bone china
• 370ml capacity
• Dishwasher and microwave safe
• Supplied gift boxed

It arrives gift boxed, which makes it easy to hand over to a shooting man or anyone fond of the countryside. The pattern suits a pot of strong tea at the kitchen table.
